The Falcons played a strong tournament last weekend in Manhattan Christian. The team beat Drummond, Superior and close cross-county competitors, Ennis on the path to second place. Only the first place team, Manhattan Christian, was able to knock out wins against the Lady Falcons.
On Wednesday, August 24 at 16:44, the Madison County Communications Centers received a report of possible unexploded ordnance near mile marker 23 on MT Highway 41 south of Twin Bridges. The original call described three pieces of what the reporting party believed to be dynamite.
The Twin Bridges Falcons had a great Divisional Track meet over the weekend in Frenchtown. The girls team placed 3rd overall. Results from athletic.net are below:

In celebration of financial literacy month, Jody Sandru’s high school personal finance class teamed up with our 3rd graders to teach the importance of budgeting and saving/investing. We also welcomed Steve Collinge from Opportunity Bank who presented a budget exercise with tootsie rolls. Students then invested and bartered for goods.
The Lady Falcons traveled to Great Falls to play in the state tournament for the first time since 2017 on Thursday, March 10. The Girls Class C State Tournament was held at the Four Seasons Arena.
The Lady Falcons played hard for four games to eventually bring home fourth place.
When the Falcon Fire team from Twin Bridges visited Montana State University last Saturday, it marked the culmination of nearly five months of building and programming a robot the junior high students pitted against 35 other teams from around the state.
Ennis School Board approves Virginia City bus route hires; transportation director retires
The Ennis Public Schools Board of Trustees held their regular board meeting on Jan. 12. Here’s a recap of what was covered, according to Ennis Superintendent Casey Klasna.
The Twin Bridges girls basketball team continued their winning streak on Dec. 17, handily defeating Lima, 60-19.
Earlier in the month the Falcons notched wins in Ennis (46-14), Deer Lodge (58-29), and Three Forks (40-30.)
The 5-0 team will head to Boulder to take on Jefferson High School on Jan. 6.
