Tip of the hat

Growing up watching her mother Sheila make cowboy hats, Ericka Kirkpatrick certainly learned a lot about the unique trade. She’d help with all the aspects of the trade, but she was sure it wasn’t something she’d take on as her own career.

Flying Falcons

Twin Bridges track and field athletes performed well at the April 16 meet held at Park High in Livingston with girls placing second out of 10 teams with 94.5 points and boys placing third out of nine with 99 points. A number of personal records were made, as well as a school record in the 800-meter race.

Madison County cleaned up

A person can get stuck in the mentality that if you grow up in a small area, you won’t have the same opportunities as others living in cities or metropolitan places. It can feel like the success of whatever it is you are trying to succeed in is based on location, not ability or passion.
