MADISON COUNTY – With municipal elections around the corner, now is a good time to look at what seats are available and who is in the running for them.

ENNIS –  Ennis town council solved a problem at its Thursday, May 9 meeting.

The council decided to repaint parking lines on the north side of West Main St. to create diagonal parking spots, which will make the narrow road fire truck accessible at all times.

BOZEMAN – As part of ongoing efforts to monitor the population of grizzly bears  in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, Yellowstone National Park and the USGS would like to inform the public that biologists with the National Park Service and Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team (IGBST) will be conducting scientific grizzly bear research operations

Missoula – The governors of Montana and ten other Western states have proclaimed May as Wildfire Awareness Month. Fire prevention agencies and organizations across the state invite all Montanans to participate.
