Twin Bridges track and field athletes performed well at the April 16 meet held at Park High in Livingston with girls placing second out of 10 teams with 94.5 points and boys placing third out of nine with 99 points. A number of personal records were made, as well as a school record in the 800-meter race.
The Twin Bridges Falcon boys’ State C Tournament rollercoaster left the gates on March 11 with a much-anticipated matchup against Bridger– a 20-0 undefeated team known for its height and skill.
The Ennis lady Mustangs knew they’d have a tough battle against their Twin Bridges counterparts on Jan. 22. The game on Twin’s court played out to be a close one, and the Mustangs galloped home with a win 31-25.
Being familiar with the powerhouse Twin Bridges team, Harrison boys knew they had their work cut out for them at their Jan. 14 matchup in Twin Bridges. Leading up to the game the Harrison Wildcats were feeling good, coming off of a home win against Gardiner on January 9.
The Dennis and Phillis Washington Foundation and Montana Rail Link, donated Falcon and Wildcat hoodies to the entire Twin Bridges and Harrison school and staff this week. MRL are a regional railroad company that operates 900 miles of track throughout Montana and Idaho.
The Panthers held their own against the Falcons in its second eight-man football game Sept.4. But the Twin Bridges’ team took the win in Sheridan, 38-28.
Madison County’s Twin Bridges team is playing in the 2020 State C Boys Basketball Tournament.
The Falcons are competing for the championship title at the University of Montana Adam’s Center March 11-14. Their first game is against Fort Benton Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

The Falcons challenged the Gardiner Bruins for second place in the 2020 Western C Boys Division- al Basketball Tournament and won (49-41). Twin Bridges and Manhattan Christian will compete in the Class C State Tournament in Missoula March 12-14.
The Falcons transformed into a championship team in a single season. Twin Bridges is the champion of 2020 Girls’ District 12-C Basketball. The young team, with two eighth graders putting in some important minutes on the court, defeated the Granite Prospectors, 43-28, in Butte Feb. 22.
