There is one instance in the history of criminal law in the United States where the testimony of a ghost has led to a murder conviction. That story is the inspiration behind Jenna Cirrali and Cat Dale’s Western ghost story “Clara Boone.” 

Thirty-two students, two instructors, one Saturday morning and a new and updated version of the “Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving” came together on May 2 as part of the Ennis Continuing Education program to produce cans of pickled mixed vegetables and increased self reliance skills. 

Heartfelt thanks to Virginia City Elks Lodge #390 volunteers for assembling 400 goodie bags for Softball, Baseball, Golf and Drama Club kids from Virginia City, Ennis, Alder, Sheridan, Twin Bridges and Harrison during Elks Youth Week.

April 19 marked the first time that Noah Coughlan made his way along the Madison River for the first time in his quest to complete his run across all 50 states in time for the USA 250 celebrations on July 4.

“When you have no money and weigh 90 pounds, you don't have the money to bear hatred or the energy, and if you bear hatred, you're not able to move on, and the other side wins,” said Andrew Lazlo Jr.

Al Noack was recently honored as Hunter & Bowhunter Education Program Instructor of the Year by Fish, Wildlife & Parks.  Noack began teaching Bowhunters’ Education in 1991 and Hunters’ Education in 1992 and was certified in 1995.
