When he stepped foot on the set of “Yellowstone” a few years ago, Ennis resident and stuntman Cooper Taylor asked A-List actor Kevin Costner if he remembered him. Taylor said he responded: “Yeah, you rode with me. We delivered mail.”

The Elevated Tennis Camps program has been completed at the Madison Valley Golf and Tennis Club in Ennis. The sessions included three days of adult clinics beginning July 24 followed by two days of children’s clinics ending July 28.

“They’re all doing a great job working toward the same common goal,” Puckett said. “Each one is looking at the health and wellbeing of the students and staff.”
The Madison Valley Tennis Association just completed the total resurfacing of the two county tennis courts located at the Madison Valley Golf and Tennis Club.

Cooper Clemens, a part-time local of Cameron, took first place in the bareback riding competition. He scored 76 points, a single point higher than J2 Bridges of Dillon, July 3.
Ennis Mayor Blake Leavitt will not sign the permit for the Fourth of July Parade.
Private and public events over 50 people in the county will have to go through the Madison County Public Health Department, but expectations are unclear.
