Double volleyball victory

Harrison’s volleyball team won a double-match in Lima Oct. 3.

The Wildcats defeated the Bears in five sets each match. Aleena Bacon was essential in both matches, setting up most of Harrison’s points. Rosie Chater and Bacon had a successful night from the serving line and at the net. Chater lead the Wildcats in kills and aces in the first match and Bacon led in kills and aces in the second match against the Lima Bears.

Harrison’s defense dug deep for each match making nearly 100 digs for the night. Chater lead the first match with 12 digs and Sophie Mitchell made 10 of Harrison’s 48 digs in the second match. Harrison secured a double defeat against the conference competition.

The Wildcats’ next match will be in Harrison against Gardiner Oct. 8.
