C-South 8-Man varsity football update

Despite an epic and close battle in Big Sky, the now 0-6 Ennis Mustangs fell to Lone Peak on Oct. 9. Final score: 38-36. The Mustang’s next game is a senior night Madison County matchup at home against Twin Bridges at 7 p.m. on Oct. 22.

The 5-0 Sheridan Panthers remained the cream that rises to the top as their Oct. 9 matchup against Victor was cancelled by the Victor School District. No matter, that gave the undefeated team a break before their next game, a home battle set for Oct. 15 against Park City.

The week of the 8th was the Twin Bridges Falcons’ bye week. The 2-4 team now looks to their next matchup in Big Sky against the 2-4 Lone Peak Big Horns on Oct. 16, a Saturday affair slated for 1 p.m.

Playoffs are set for Oct. 30, with the state championship scheduled for Nov. 20.
