2025 Bob Cleverly 8-Man All-Star Football Game
Athletes from Ennis and Sheridan chosen to play in the game
On Saturday, May 31 athletes from all over the state gathered in Butte, Mont. to play at the Bob Cleverly 8-Man All-Star Football game. This game gives athletes the opportunity to play with former rivals and players from the other side of the state. This is also a last hurrah for seniors moving on from the high school football scene to get one last game in. Two teams formed from rivals and friends, Red and Blue, bringing together many different teams, making the opportunity for team work grow. Tuesday through Saturday all the athletes spend time in the dorms rooming with someone they have never met or someone from a rival school, all while practicing and warming up for the big game.
Three athletes from Ennis and two athletes from Sheridan, made up part of the Red Team. #15 Kace Wagner, #25 Cole Kramer and #42 Caden Lovett from Ennis. #0 Kyler Theis and #16 Jacob Mann from Sheridan. They worked together, ran the plays and left it all on the field. The Red team was in the lead at half time with 17-8 against the Blue team. But in the second half the Blue team turned up the heat and took hold of their victory, bringing the game to an end with an astounding turn around, 28-23.
