Walsh Family Announces Scholarships

The Walsh Family (formally the Ruby Valley Bank scholarship program) is accepting applications for $750 scholarship awards for 2018 graduating high school seniors that meet the following eligibility:

• The graduating high school senior has applied or been accepted at an accredited two or four-year college, university or vocational school or specialized program studies (i.e. cosmetology) in Montana commencing no later than the fall following completion of high school.

• The student has demonstrated good citizenship by active participation in school, church and/or community organizations.

• The student has maintained a 2.5 GPA.

Our recipients last year were Kathleen Tatarka – Beaverhead County High School, Janie Smart – Sheridan High School, Karly Amos, Kaleb Bausch, Sierra Fransden, and Cassandra Williams – Twin Bridges High School

$46,250 in scholarships to 63 recipients has been made since the scholarship program was started in 2003 and we are happy, that as a family, we are able to continue on!

Applications must be postmarked or delivered to Karen W. Town at PO Box 587, Sheridan MT 59749 by Tues., May 1, 2018. The scholarship recipients will be announced by May 11, 2018. We extend our congratulations to all the area-graduating seniors!
