Paula Ann Jenks

Paula battled Ovarian cancer and defied the odds for three and half years. Paula’s parents predeceased her and she is survived by her sister Christine and several cousins. She graduated from Nazareth College with a degree in nursing. Paula worked as a registered nurse in several different disciplines, she always treated her patients with kindness and respect and made a positive impact in their lives. Paula is survived by her husband John of 55 years, three sons; John his wife Rachel, Thomas his wife Alesha, and Michael his wife Marci, and three grandchildren, she was so proud of them. She is also survived by four sisters-inlaw and three brothers-in-law.

The family would especially like to acknowledge the kindness of the Madison Valley Library for picking out the books Paula liked to read; the pharmacy with all her meds; the medical center for the lab work and C.T tests, and the E.M.T.s that came over to the house and gave her the Covid booster when she was no longer able to leave the house. Our very kind neighbors: Scott and Sheryl Knepper, Charley and Janet Ducsay, Gary and Diana Laqua, and Bob and Sue Welna. Sue came over to the house several times and gave Paula communion. The cookies she brought seemed to disappear. Father John Crutchfield of Saint Patrick's Catholic church; he was so kind and supportive as Paula looked forward to his visits to the house. A private mass was conducted at St. Patrick's Catholic church.
