ENNIS—The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) club at Ennis High School spent part of their lunch hour on Friday, November 16 creating a unique addition to an annual tradition by the Ennis Food Bank.
ENNIS—By the time next spring rolls around, students at Ennis Schools will be well on their way to growing a bumper crop of produce, and will have gotten a much closer look at the pollinators that help facilitate that process.
MADISON COUNTY—It may be only mid-November, but thoughts are already turning toward Christmas as snow begins to fly and Thanksgiving travel plans are made. And with those plans comes the onset of holiday shopping.

MADISON COUNTY - Sunday, November 11, Veterans Day, was a day to honor veterans and think about the high cost of the freedoms American’s enjoy.
Several events were held across the county.
VIRGINIA CITY—At their weekly meeting on Tuesday, October 23, the Madison County commissioners approved a loan to facilitate a Habitat for Humanity project that will take place in Ennis’s North 40 subdivision north of town.
ENNIS—In his nearly three decades working in the rehabilitation engineering lab for Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado, Peter Pauwels saw his fair share of catastrophic injuries.
He also saw just how far human intelligence could go toward remedying those injuries.
ENNIS—Brummie Boggus’s love for rodeo began the first time he ever watched a rider on a bronco.
“I’ve just always wanted to do it,” he says. “I always watched rodeos and knew that I wanted to do that too.”
ENNIS—When Angela Post opened Halo Studio Hair, she intended it to simply be a hobby endeavor. Styling and cutting hair had been her career for nearly three decades, and she and her husband wanted a quieter atmosphere than the busy Lake Tahoe scene they’d lived in.
ENNIS—With homecoming festivities complete, the Ennis School Board turned its attention to the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year at its monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 12.
