Mustang volleyball fights all the way to title game, takes second

In a nail-biter match, the Lady Mustangs lost to the undefeated Belt Huskies and took home the second place title. The Huskies, who capped off a perfect season with the title match, knocked the Mustangs into the consolation bracket early in the tournament, but the hungry Ennis team made their way back, better than ever and looking for redemption.

3 teams on the road, Falcons welcome Victor Pirates to Carroll Field

The Twin Bridges Falcons competed well against Victor’s athletic quarter back and big, physical team. They played the Pirates close in the first half, entering the locker room trailing 7 – 14, but Victor’s tough team pulled away in the third quarter. The Falcons fell to the Pirates, 13 – 28.

Volleyball begins with preseason tournaments

While regular season games are set to begin this week, the volleyball season kicked off with preseason tournaments Aug. 27.
Sheridan and Twin Bridges traveled to Phillipsburg for the Granite tournament, where they played teams from all over the district and state, while Ennis hit the road for the Choteau Invitational.
