With the primary quickly approaching, the Twin Bridges Rotary Club held a candidate forum at the Twin Bridges High School on May 19, with candidates running for Senate District 36, House District 71 and Commission District 1.
“We’re here to answer questions and get you up-to-date,” said Ken Walsh, chairman of the Ruby Valley Hospital’s board of directors, addressing around 50 community members who gathered at the Sheridan Elementary School on March 15. “This is how we are going to meet the healthcare demands of the future.”
Commissioners from Gallatin and Madison counties, representatives of entities like Ennis Schools, Madison Valley Medical Center and Madison Valley Conservation District, and community members from Big Sky and Madison County attended the presentation, because a subcommittee of the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce is researching the possibility of implementing two TEDDs around Big Sky.
