Céad míle fáilte: A hundred thousand welcomes

The third week of March is a special one because the Irish, and many others, celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day! Though at its core, Saint Patrick’s Day is a religious holiday commemorating the death of Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint, it is more than that. It’s amazing how the celebration of a small island across the big pond has become a cultural holiday in many countries, especially the United States.

I quickly called or emailed the recipients of the packages and they came to collect their gifts.
