Madison County runners keep pushing

Twin XC meet rescheduled to Oct. 14

Madison County Cross Country traveled to Dillon and Livingston last weekend.

Twin Bridges Cross Country, coached by Hannah Konen, headed to the Dillon Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 26. The 5,000-meter men’s race included 75 runners and the 5,000-meter women’s race included 57 runners.

Times for Twin Bridges’ runners are as follows: Morgan Hendrickson: 18:43 (21st place), Zane Carter: 19:57 (37th place), Kyle Salerno: 24:26 (65th place), Pablo Babcock: 26:33 (70th place) and Allie Dale: 23:24 (27th place).

Ennis Cross Country headed to Livingston for the Livingston Invite on the same Saturday. This cool and windy race was the team’s second of the season and Coach Melinda Legg said the runners raced hard and fast. Ennis times are as follows: Eli Beardsley: 20:03, Wylie Connor: 21:04, Tait Olsen: 21:57, Kyle LaClair: 24:19 and Genesis Boyles 25:16.

Ennis’s next races will be in West Yellowstone Oct. 3, Townsend the weekend of Oct. 9 and Kalispell Oct. 24.

The Twin Bridges meet has been rescheduled to Oct. 14 at 2 p.m.
