Small team big win

Harrison Lady Wildcats

The Lady Wildcats beat the Roberts Rockets in the first basketball game of the season.

Four players return to the team this season. Aleena Bacon came out strong, putting up 10 points against Roberts Saturday night, sinking a three pointer in the first quarter.

Speaking of three pointers, Dana Lerum made seven of them. She scored 32 of Harrison’s 51 points. Lerum returns to the team as a freshman.

The Lady Wildcats are a six-player team this season. Everyone has to be a contributor, and endurance will be important. Returning players, senior Kayley Christensen and junior Rosie Chater are also joined by newcomers Lauren Cima and Payton Mallett.

Harrison trailed behind Roberts through the first half of the game but came back in the second half. They outscored the Rockets 51 – 49. Next, the Wildcats will take on the Lone Peak Big Horns Dec. 14 at Absarokee.
