A record number of Sheridan community members, students and teachers packed the C. B. Murray Media Center at the Sheridan High School on Jan. 21 for a special board meeting discussing current Superintendent Kim Harding’s potential contract renewal.
After calling the meeting to order, Rhonda Boyd, board chairperson, opened the floor to general public comment and then clerk Rebecca Larson informed the board which policies they will vote on at the February meeting. Then Boyd moved onto agenda item five, superintendent renewal.
Trustee Therese Sutton moved to not issue a new contract to Harding. Her motion was seconded by vice-chair William Wood.
