As of June 1, Madison County had three active COVID-19 cases, zero hospitalizations and 786 confirmed positive cases since the beginning of the pandemic. Montana reports a 43% rate of residents fully vaccinated, and Madison County sits just below that at 38%.
Community members filled the Ennis Town Hall on May 13 for the Ennis Town Council meeting. At hand was the contentious decision regarding the approval of a Conditional Use Application which would allow for six three-story, four-unit condos to be built in the North Forty Subdivision in Ennis.
This is the second graduating high school class to celebrate this milestone amidst a pandemic.

BOYS 100 METERS
For nearly three decades a portion of the rugged Axolotl Lakes Road, which connects the Shining Mountains neighborhood in Ennis to Virginia City, has been closed to automobile traffic but open to snowmobile use from December 1 to April 15.
As of April 13, Madison County reported 13 active coronavirus cases. There have been 741 cases through the pandemic. Currently, zero hospitalizations are reported.
The Madison County Planning Board voted unanimously to recommend the proposed growth policy and its implementation to the Town of Sheridan, with the addition of a few staff corrections.
As of April 6, Madison County reported five active coronavirus cases. Four thousand twenty-eight total vaccinations have been administered, 1,622 individuals are fully vaccinated and 7,454 are eligible to be vaccinated.
Madison County had two active coronavirus cases as of the morning of March 30. There are no active hospitalizations, and one new death was reported that occurred in January. No new cases have been reported in any Madison County school district over the past 14 days.
