Someone please make sense

Dear Editor,

I am truly perplexed. We have an Helena immigration attorney from Illinois, Shahid Haque-Hausrath, representing a Canadian, Alisha Blair, who is an American citizen wanting Montana benefits, but who doesn’t have proper documentation for whatever reason, although her lawyer does this for a living, and is backed by the MEA-MFT union of teachers and other school employees who are employed by us and who now are assisting in a lawsuit of the people of Montana who passed a law, LR-121, that 80 percent agreed with. WHEW! Will someone please make some sense of this?

And, why am I not reading more about this case in the State papers?
