Feature Photo: End of the Road

The Morris State Bank building sits near the edge of town in Pony, right where the pavement ends. Built in 1902, the structure housed a bank, U.S. Post Office, barber shop and doctors and lawyers offices at one time or another. On February 1, 1926 the bank closed and went into voluntary liquidation.  Photo by Ben Coulter
