ENNIS—The brand-new lady Mustangs softball team played their second double header of the season on Friday, April 12, ending up with an even 2-2 record.
ENNIS – It was another excellent year for Ennis at the State FCCLA Leadership Conference, taking place March 21-22. This year the conference moved to MSU in Bozeman, and students were able to take advantage of the university connection, participating in workshops and trainings led by faculty and staff.
ENNIS – The Harvest of the Month program continued in February at Ennis Schools when fifth graders tackled a complex recipe, making ravioli that left their cutting boards looking something like a murder scene.
DILLON—The field of championship basketball teams is slowly being whittled down as the post-season progresses, and three Madison County teams punched their ticket to this weekend’s divisional championship in Butte.
MADISON COUNTY—Regular season high school basketball is over for another year in the Madison and Ruby valleys. Seven matchups took place around the county last weekend, including a banner senior night for the Sheridan Panthers on Friday, February 8.
ENNIS—Led by counselor Roberta McKay and kindergarten teacher Betty Klein, Ennis’s class of kindergarteners put on a celebratory Thanksgiving performance on Monday, November 19 that touched upon several different cultures.
MANHATTAN—The Twin Bridges Falcons and the Ennis Mustangs continued their post-season play at the divisional volleyball tournament hosted by Manhattan Christian November 1-3. The tournament began on Thursday and was the final step in qualifying for the state championship tournament this weekend.
ENNIS – When a person passes from this world, it is those who are left behind who feel the impact of that loss. Often, the person who has lost their struggle requests no services or recognition because they are a very private person and have totally underestimated their influence on those whose lives they touched.
ENNIS—With homecoming festivities complete, the Ennis School Board turned its attention to the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year at its monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 12.
