American Legion Post 89

In April, Sheridan’s American Legion Post 89 completed The American Legion Americanism and Government Survey Program at Sheridan’s Middle/High School. After all the surveys were scored, the Post selected the winners in the 8th Grade and High School Seniors categories. The first-place winners in each category had their surveys forwarded for consideration at the State level.

At the 8th Grade level, James Reedy took first place, Brandin Sayler second place and Brayt Wood third place. All received a Certificate of Participation and the first place winner received a cash award.

At the High School Senior level, Katherine Tucker took first place, Jenna Nate second place and Cody Underwood third place. All received a Certificate of Participation and the first place winner receives a cash award.
