Christmas strolls came in with a rush and then were over leaving the citizens of Twin Bridges, Sheridan and Ennis with that satisfied and happy feeling that you get after all the presents have been opened on Christmas morning.

This year, like last, we were all reminded why it’s fun to live in Madison County and be a part of our little communities. The Christmas Strolls might not be the only time we come together as townspeople, but it might be the best.
In each town, the scenes were similar. Horses clopped up and down the street, children sang Christmas Carols and somehow Santa Claus listened to wish lists from kids both naughty and nice.
But wait, it’s not over yet. Virginia City has their Christmas Stroll on Friday beginning at 4 p.m. Shops around town will be open sharing good cheer and holiday treats.
