Both Falcons teams had the games they hoped for. With the 12C district championship titles on the line, the Falcons were hoping for the ultimate redemption, and the Lady Falcons wanted to continue their winning streak.

It was a tough week for the Sheridan Panthers –taking on the Ennis Mustangs, followed by a supercharged performance from the Twin Bridges Falcons two days later. The Panthers lost to the Falcons, 93-49.
Purple cats versus purple cats. The Harrison gym was completely purple on Saturday, Jan. 21 when the visiting Sheridan Panthers came to play the Wildcats.
The gym was packed with passion as every player, whether they donned red and black or purple and white, fought for possession of the ball, taking elbows to the back and hits to the floor. Bruised knees and sweat covered brows could not hold either team back, but it was the Lady Falcons who walked away victorious.
The first Madison County basketball game of the New Year came on Jan. 3 when the Sheridan Panthers hosted the Harrison Wildcats. Despite cool temperatures outside, the court saw heat as the Wildcats and Panthers battled back and forth for possession of the ball, resulting in close games for both teams. In the end, however, both Wildcat teams were victorious.
Waking up Christmas morning is always and easy to do, but this Christmas was extra special for five Madison County footballers.
“It kind of took a minute to set in and for me to realize how big it is,” said Ennis’ Ty Morgan.
Morgan, along with his Mustang teammates Gavin McKitrick and Jack Knack, and Twin Bridges’ Wesley Harshbarger and Cooper Christensen were selected to participate in the 71st annual Montana East-West Shrine game, which is slated for July 15, 2017, at Rocky Mountain College.
