VC wins film-friendly award

Virginia City was the winner of this past week-ends 2018 Film-Friendly award at the Governor’s Tourism Conference in Big Sky, MT with the production of The “Ballad of Lefty Brown” which was filmed in the NC Museum ( Montana Heritage Commission) and was the recipient of this years award. Famous actors Bill Pullman and Kathy Baker add to the many impressive and famous films/actors through the years with 34 major productions being filmed in NC Museum and Virginia City. From “Little Big Man” with Dustin Hoffman to Tommy Lee Jones in Lonesome Dove to Missouri Breaks with Marlin Brando and Jack Nicholson.
